Edoardo Mozzanega is a dance artist, performer and director. He holds an MA degree in aesthetics Philosophy and an MA in Dance and Creative Practice at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, where he has deepened his research in a liminal performative language between theatre, dance, video art and somatic practices. Edoardo has studied theatre and dance since 2011 with several masters among which Maria Consagra, Danio Manfredini, John Strasberg, Maria Federica Maestri (Lenz-Rifrazioni), Cesare Ronconi e Mariangela Gualtieri (Teatro Valdoca), Franco Reffo e Barbara Geiger (Compagnia Nut) and, more recently, Alessio Maria Romano and Francesco Manetti (Venice Theatre Biennale 2018), David Zambrano and Batsheva Dance Company (Gaga movement language). Edoardo has been a student of Theatre-Dance and Direction at Scuola d’Arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi for two years since 2013. In the same year he has co-founded in Milan the experimental theatre company Kokoschka Revival. In 2015, 2016 and 2019 he has worked as a dancer for Compagnia Nut (Milan). Since 2017 he has performed for Ariella Vidach, Public Movement, Ari Benjamin Meyers, Antonio Marras, Compagnia NUT, Melanie Bonajo, Tony Thatcher. As a director he has created “The weirds and the wilds” and “PLAYGROUND!”, a solo performance inspired by kids playing on a playground.
